Trans Wisconsin Adventure Trail

In 2025, I led a group of 15 or so people on a Memorial Day run on the Trans Wisconsin Adventure Trail.

Our group was split between camping and hotels. Splitting the group like that was not a good idea, getting coordinated in the morning burned up a lot of time.

We used WhatsApp to coordinate. At some point I will write up how we set it up.

As part of the project, and a result of the closing of the Lansing bridge,I made an attempt to update the GPS tracks.

I made a few modifications to the trail that was originally laid out by Chad Berger of Lone Wolf Expeditions. We stayed entirely inside of Wisconsin and shifted the emphasis to northern Wisco. Staying in the same spot for day 2 and 3 to run the sandy bits with unloaded bikes.
